This page covers thesugaralarm.com and the preorder checkout only. The Sugar Alarm application and device have their own privacy policy, which governs glucose readings, caregiver contacts and alert history.
This website
This site is a set of static files. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from a third-party origin — the fonts and images are served from this domain. Simply reading this site sends no information about you to anyone but our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs.
The site makes exactly one request to another server, and only when you press "Place your preorder": it tells our API which device and service plan you chose so that a Stripe checkout can be created. That request contains no personal information.
What checkout collects
Payment is handled by Stripe. You enter your details on Stripe's page, not ours. Stripe then gives us:
- your email address;
- your name, shipping address and phone number;
- the amount paid, the currency, and identifiers for the payment.
We store those alongside the device, quantity and service plan you selected.
We never receive your card number, security code or expiry date. They go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers, our logs or our database. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
What we use it for
- Fulfilling your order — shipping the device to your address.
- Telling you about your order — confirmation, tracking, and any change to the ship date.
- Support — answering you when you write to us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — payment processing and tax calculation.
- Cloudflare — serving this website.
- Fly.io — hosting the API and database that hold your order.
- The shipping carrier — your name and address, so they can deliver it.
- Twilio — sending order and shipping emails.
How long we keep it
TODO — LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED. A concrete retention period for order records must be set, balanced against tax and accounting record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
Email Support@Seecose.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about your order. We will confirm your identity against the order before acting. Deleting an order record before it ships means cancelling the order.

Children
Sugar Alarm is bought by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this checkout.
