1. Who you are buying from
Sugar Alarm devices and the Sugar Alarm service are sold by Seecose LLC ("we", "us"). Questions about an order go to Support@Seecose.com.
2. What a preorder is
A preorder reserves a device from the Founding Family production run, which is limited to the first 250 households. You are charged in full at the time you place the order, not at the time we ship. Placing a preorder does not create an account, and it does not start a service subscription.
The Founding Family price is $450 for the Sugar Alarm Mini and $550 for the Sugar Alarm Plus, each $100 below the standard price. That discount is locked to your order for the life of that order.
3. When it ships
Founding Family orders are scheduled to ship on September 30, 2026. If we cannot ship by that date, we will email you with a revised date and the option to cancel for a full refund, at no cost to you and with no restocking fee. This commitment is described in full in the Shipping Policy. Shipping is to United States addresses only.
4. Cancelling
You may cancel at any time before your unit is dispatched and receive a full refund of everything you paid. See the Refund Policy for how refunds are issued and how long they take.
5. Service subscription
The device requires an active Sugar Alarm service subscription to receive readings and send alerts: Core at $59.99/mo for one device and three contacts, or Household at $89.99/mo for up to four devices and unlimited contacts. The first month is free for Founding Family orders.
Selecting a plan during preorder records your intent only. No subscription is created and no recurring charge is set up at preorder time. You will be asked to start the subscription separately, closer to shipment.
If a subscription payment later fails, alarms continue at full capability for 30 days while the payment is resolved. We do not silence a household over a billing problem.
6. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive, see, or store your card number, security code or expiry date. We retain only Stripe's identifiers for your order and the amount charged. Applicable sales tax is calculated by Stripe at checkout.
7. What Sugar Alarm is not
Sugar Alarm is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not replace your CGM, its alarms, or your care team's instructions. It is a secondary household notification system that depends on internet, cellular, power and third-party services, any of which can fail or be delayed. Never make a treatment decision from Sugar Alarm alone. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
8. Warranty and liability

9. Changes
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published on the day you placed it; we will email you if a change affects an order already placed.
